【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversthematerialsandtestingofshieldedhublesscouplingstojoinhublesscastironsoilpipeandfittings.1.2Severaldifferenttypesofhublesscouplingsareavailableforuseinhublesscastironsanitaryandstormdrain,wasteandventpipingapplicationstoconnecthublesscastironsoilpipeandfittingsbyusingasleeve-type,orsomeothertypecouplingdevice.ItisthepurposeofthisspecificationtofurnishinformationastothecharacteristicsofonesuchsleevetypecouplingswhenappliedtocastironsoilpipeandfittingsmanufacturedinaccordancewithSpecificationA888,latestrevision,andCISPI-301,latestrevision.1.3Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.4ThecommitteewithjurisdictionoverthisstandardisawareofothercomparablestandardpublishedbytheCastIronSoilPipeInstitute,CISPI-310,FM1680publishedbyFactoryMutual,andSpecificationC1540publishedbyASTM.1.5Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodportion,Section7,ofthisspecification.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
